Dr. Hsieh is a Founding Partner of MH2 Technology Law Group. He has more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of patent law, including patent preparation and prosecution; patentability, validity, and infringement opinions; strategic patent portfolio development; patent landscape analysis; litigation; and licensing. He has particular expertise in the areas of advanced materials; semiconductors; MEMS; fiber optics; and nanotechnology.

Prior to joining MH2 Technology Law Group, LLP, Dr. Hsieh was an attorney with the law firm of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP in Washington, DC. He also served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Randall R. Rader at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Dr. Hsieh received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as Executive Editor of the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology.

Prior to his legal career, Dr. Hsieh worked for twelve years as a scientist for the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST), FMC Corporation, and a startup company. While a scientist, Dr. Hsieh conducted research on advanced materials and processes, lasers, and electro-optics.
